Remittance inflow grows 23.6pc till Feb 23

DHAKA, Feb 24, 2026 (BSS) - Remittance inflow grew by 23.6 percent year-on-year, reaching $2,567 million in the first 23 days of February, according to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data issued today. 

Last year, during the same period, the country received US$2,076 million in remittances. 
 
During July to February 23 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent US$21,999 million in remittances compared to US$18,038 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
