10.9pc growth of remittance inflow till March 24

DHAKA, March 25, 2026 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 10.9 percent reaching US$3,050 million in the first 24 days of March, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued here today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $2,749 million.
 
During the July to March 24, 2026 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $25,504 million, which was $21,238 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year, it added.
