Remittance inflow grows 18.8pc till March 28

DHAKA, March 29, 2026 (BSS) - Remittance inflow grew by 18.8 percent year-on-year, reaching $25,785 million during July 1 to March 29 of the fiscal year 2025-26, according to Bangladesh Bank (BB) data issued today. 

Last year, during the same period, the country received $21,699 million in remittances. 

During the first 28 days of March, expatriates sent home $3,332 million in remittances compared to $3,209 million in the same period of the previous fiscal year.
