BGB distributes winter clothes among cold-stricken people in Khagrachhari

KHAGRACHHARI, Jan 14, 2025 (BSS) - Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-23 Battalion today distributed winter clothes among 300 helpless and distressed people in the district.

Zone Commander of Jaminipara BGB-23 Battalion Lt. Col. Khalid Ibne Hossain distributed the winter clothes among over 300 cold-stricken people at Thailapara Government Primary School ground this morning.

Zone Deputy Commander Major Md. Ashikur Rahman, Major SM Md. Masudur Mia, Zone NCO Mohammad Ruhul Amin, local public representatives and senior BGB officials were present, among others, during the distribution.

The chief guest said that in addition to border security, Jaminipara BGB-23 Zone is working for the neglected and helpless people of remote hilly areas, and such welfare work will continue in the future.
