Ex-president of Joypurhat Press Club Nripendranath dies

JOYPURHAT, Jan 20, 2025 (BSS) - Former president of Joypurhat Press Club Advocate Nripendranath Mandol died at his Arafatnagar residence here.
He was 72.

Mandol had been suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, and liver cirrhosis for long.

He left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter, a host of relatives, and well-wishers to mourn his death.

He was cremated at Khanjanpur Mohashashan.

He worked at different media outlets, including the daily Banglar Bani, the daily Uttar Barta, the daily Mayer Achal, and the daily Bhorer Kagoj.

Joypurhat Press Club President Abu Bakar Siddique and General Secretary Masud Rana expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Nripendranath Mandol.

They prayed for the salvation of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
