3 motorcyclists killed in Natore road crash

NATORE, Jan 21, 2025 (BSS) - Three motorcycle riders were killed when a truck
rammed their bike in Sekchilan area under Lalpur upazila of the district this
noon.

The deceased were Shraban Majumdar, 18, son of Shiben, Swapan, 19, son of
Ratan Majumder, residents of Dhala Hindupara village of the upazila and
Bidhan Sarkar, 18, son of Bishnu Sarkar of Sonaidanga village in Singra
upazila of the district.

The accident occurred on the Walia-Kadimchilan road at 12 noon when a truck
hit a motorcycle from the opposite direction, leaving its two riders Shraban
and Bidhan dead on the spot and injuring another one, said Md. Nuruzzaman,
officer-in-charge (OC) of Lalpur Police Station.

Later, Swapan died on the way to a hospital.

A case was filed in this regard.
