THAKURGAON, Jan 25, 2025 (BSS) -An anti-drug bicycle rally was held today in the district to raise social awareness against drugs with the slogan "Come, let's change the country, and let’s change the world".

On the occasion of the Youth Festival 2025, deputy commissioner Ishrat Farzana inaugurated the program, organized by the Sadar Upazila administration, this afternoon.

The bicycle rally started from Thakurgaon Government Boys High School Baramath and paraded the main roads of the town and ended at the same place.

Upazila Executive Officer Khairul Islam participated in the bicycle rally.

At the end of the rally, the speakers highlighted the terrible and harmful aspects of various anti-social activities such as drugs, child marriage, kidnapping, theft and other social ills.
 
At the same time, a call was made to raise voice against social ills through the youth festival cycling competition.

At the end of the competition, trees and books were distributed as prizes among the winners.
