BNP leader Sultan Uddin passes away

NARSINGDI, Jan 25, 2025 (BSS) - Sultan Uddin Mollah, senior joint convener of the district BNP, passed away today at 70 while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dhaka. 

He left behind his wife, two sons and numerous well-wishers to mourn his death. 

His first Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday at Rangamatia Eidgah Ground in the district town and the second one will be held after Asr prayers at Sabuj Pahar ground in Joshor Union of Shibpur upazila. 

Later, he will be buried at his family graveyard, family sources said.
