SHERPUR, Jan 27, 2025 (BSS) - To mark the Festival of Youth 2025, a 
discussion titled "Joy of Victory, Youth Excitement' was held at the 
conference room of deputy commissioner here at 12 noon today.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Tarafdar Mahmudur Rahman addressed the meeting as 
the chief guest while Additional Deputy Commissioner Hafiza Jasmine was in 
the chair.

On the occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan 
and Press Club President Kakon Reza spoke as special guests.

The speakers paid tribute to the martyrs of the July-August mass uprising and 
wished the injured a speedy recovery in the meeting. At the time, they 
expressed their determination to move forward maintaining the unity of July-
August.

Among others, leaders of the anti-discrimination student movement, officials 
from various government departments and teachers and students from different 
schools and colleges were present, among others.
