NARSINGDI, March 16, 2025 (BSS) – Police in a drive arrested two people
with two foreign-made pistols and two bullets from Changvanda area of Ekduaria
Union in Monohardi upazila of the district last night.

The arrestees were - Md. Mamun Pradhan, 36, son of Montaz Uddin Pradhan
and Azim Khan, 25, son of the late Delwar Hossain Khan, residents of Ashrafpur
(Chakbari) area of Shibpur upazila.

Speaking at a press briefing on Sunday (March 16), Narsingdi Superintendent of
Police Md. Abdul Hannan said on a tip-off, a team of police from Monohardi
Police Station conducted a special operation and arrested them with the firearms
and ammunition.

A case was filed in this connection.
