RAJSHAHI, June 30, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) has announced
a proposed budget worth around Taka 806.61 crore for 2025-2026 fiscal year.
RCC Administrator and Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Khondoker Azim Ahmed
formally announced the annual budget at its budget meeting in Nagar Bhaban
here this afternoon saying the proposed budget is totally a pro-development
one.
He said the proposed budget for the 2024-25 FY was around Taka 837.44 crore,
which has been revised at Taka 609.82 crore.
RCC Administrator Azim Ahmed said the city corporation has been implementing
various programmes to bring a qualitative change particularly in the field of
infrastructural and environmental elevation in the metropolitan city.
Earlier, the RCC approved the revised budget for 2024-25 FY and proposed
budget for 2025-26 FY in the budget meeting.

Rejaul Karim and Secretary Rumana Afroz and Budget-cum-Accounts Officer
Shafiqul Islam Khan also spoke on the occasion.
