ALGIERS, June 30, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Christophe Gleizes, a prominent French
sports journalist convicted in Algeria of "glorifying terrorism", has
appealed his seven year prison sentence, his lawyer told AFP.
"I just filed an appeal" with the Tizi Ouzou Court, said lawyer Salah
Brahimi, referring to the city where the journalist has been imprisoned since
being convicted on Sunday.
