RAJSHAHI, Mar 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Joint forces along with Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) arrested 20 persons on various cases including one suspect under "Operation Devil Hunt" here in last 24 hours.

Along with the regular drive, the joint forces also arrested one on charge of committing attack on anti-discrimination movement, explosions, terrorism and other evil activities under operation devil hunt.

The arrestee under the operation devil hunt identified as a Jubo league activist M Hossen Ali, 36, son of Sultan Ali hailed from Chandipur of Rajpara police station of the district.

Apart from this, the RMP also arrested 19 persons during their regular drive.

Among the arrested, eight had warrants, one under drug case and the remaining ten were arrested on various charges.

RMP spokes person and additional deputy commissioner (media) Sabina Yasmin confirmed the news.
