SIRAJGANJ, April 03, 2025 (BSS) - Two men were killed and four others injured in a road accident in Purbadelua area of Ullapara upazila on the Hatikumrul-Nagarbari highway of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Shariful Islam, 26, son of Abdul Aziz of Alokdia village in Salanga thana and Abdul Momin, son of Anwar Hossain, of Dubdanga village in Ullapara upazila of the district.

Quoting locals, police said when a lorry hit an auto-rickshaw leaving auto driver Shariful and its passenger Momin killed on the spot and injured four others.

Police seized the lorry. But, its driver and helper managed to escape.

The injured were sent to local hospital.
