JASHORE, April 3, 2025 (BSS)- Father and daughter were killed and three others injured critically in a fatal road accident at Pulerhat Bus Stand in Sadar upazila of the district today.
 
The deceased were Rubel Hossain, 32, and his ten-year minor daughter Oishi of Mujgunni area of Khulna district.
 
The injured were Jesmin, 28, Rubel’s wife, Rayeba, 4, daughter of Rubel and pedestrian Osman Ali, 19.
 
Quoting locals, police said the accident occurred as a passenger bus hit a motorbike in the area, leaving bike rider Oishi killed on the spot and four others injured.
 
Locals rescued the injured and sent them to Jashore General Hospital where Rubel succumbed to his injuries.
 
Locals torched the bus. Later, police seized the bus.
