CHATTOGRAM, April 4, 2025 (BSS) - An unidentified young man died after being crushed under a train near Satkania station on Ctg-Cox’s Bazar rail route in the early morning today.

Police said age of the victim is around 27 and they could not ascertain his identity.

Local rail station master Mong U Marma suspects that the young man might be crushed while crossing or roaming unmindfully on the rail track when Cox’s Bazar bound train was passing through the area at about 5.52 am on Friday.  
 
Being informed, police recovered the body from the spot and sent to the CMCH morgue for autopsy.    

The matter has been informed to the Railway authority, police said.
