Woman killed in Patuakhali road accident

PATUAKHALI, April 05, 2025 (BSS) - A woman was killed in a road accident on the Patuakhali-Barishal highway in Lebukhali union under Dumki upazila of the district last night.

The deceased was identified as Achia Khatun, 58, wife of late Harun Hawlader, of Kartikpasha village of the upazila.

The accident occurred when a microbus hit Achia Khatun, killing her on the spot.

Police recovered the body.

However, the driver of the microbus managed to flee the scene.
