MAGURA, April 5, 2025 (BSS)- A van driver was killed in a road accident near
Binodpur Bazar intersection under Mohammadpur upazila in Magura district
today.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali, 45, a resident of Mollapara
village in Binodpur union under Mohammadpur upazila.

The accident occurred when a passenger bus heading from Mohammadpur to Magura
collided head-on with a van coming from the opposite direction in the area
around 2pm, leaving the van driver dead on the spot.

Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body, said Abdur
Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Mohammadpur Police Station.

Police seized both the vehicles, the OC said, adding: "A case was filed in
this connection."
