SIRAJGANJ, April 9, 2025 (BSS) – A person was killed as a passenger bus hit his motorcycle in Hatikumrul union under Ullapara upazila of the district this afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Jahedul Islam, 35, son of Abdul Hakim of Chariya Kandapara village of Hatikumrul union of the district.

Hatikumrul Highway Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Rouf confirmed the matter saying that a Rangpur-bound passenger bus hit Jahedul Islam's motorcycle at Hatikumrul union under Salanga police station on Bogura-Nagarbari highway around 2pm, leaving him dead on the spot.

Police brought Jahedul Islam's body at the police station concerned and later handed over to his relatives following legal procedures.
