JASHORE, April 10, 2025 (BSS) – Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive arrested an accused in 41 cases from a rented house in Kalaikrai Police Station area of Gazipur district early this morning.
The arrested accused is Dolewar Hasan, 45, son of Jainal Abdeen Dafadar, a resident of Chatayantala area in Jashore Sadar upazila.
Police said a total of 41 cases were pending against Dalwar with different police stations.
Out of these, he was convicted in 25 cases and in the remaining cases he was wanted.
Jashore Additional Superintendent of Police Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui said that Dalwar Hasan initially informed the police that he was working in Grameen Bank and he is also accused of defrauding others and embezzling money from people.
