PATUAKHALI, April 10, 2025 (BSS) – A motorcyclist was killed in a road
accident in Tin Matha road adjacent to Chapli Bazar under Kalapara upazila of the
district this morning.

The deceased was Abdul Quddus, 40, son of Saheb Ali Howlader, a resident of  
Nayakata village of the upazila.

The accident took place when a motorbike collided head-on with an easy bike,
leaving motorbike rider Quddus critically injured, said Tariqul Islam, Officer-in-
Charge of Mohipur Police Station.

He was rushed to Kalapara Hospital. Later, he died on way to Barisal Shebachim
Hospital.
