FENI, April 10, 2025 (BSS) – Two people were killed when a truck hits a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on Thursday night in Sharifpur area in Daganbhuiyan upazila of Feni.

The deceased were Nazrul Islam (30), son of Selim from Dakshin Chanpur village, who was the driver of the CNG-run auto-rickshaw, and Rajib (30), son of Safiq from the DudhMukha area, who was the passenger.

The incident took place around 8:00pm on Thursday when a truck hits a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Sharifpur area in Daganbhuiyan upazila of the district, said Officer-in-Charge  (OC) of Daganbhuiyan Police Station Mohammad Lutfor Rahman quoting eyewitnesses and locals.

The locals rushed the auto-rickshaw driver and passengers to Daganbhuiyan Upazila Health Complex where the doctor declared them dead, added the OC.
