Rangpur Metropolitan BNP protests against Israeli aggression

RANGPUR, April 10, 2025 (BSS) - Rangpur Metropolitan BNP brought out a solidarity rally in the city protesting against Israeli aggression and in unity with the people of Gaza and demanded the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Leaders and activists of the Metropolitan BNP Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, Swechchasebak Dal, Tanti Dal, Mahila Dal, Ulama Dal and other organs and associate organizations gathered in front of the party office at the city's Grand Hotel intersection from 5:30 pm.

Later, at 6 pm, a protest procession passed through Dainik Dabanol intersection, Jiban Bima intersection, Press Club, Jahaz Company intersection, Paira Chattar, SuperMarket intersection, Koilash Ranjan intersection, Nagar Bhaban and ended in front of the Town Hall in the evening.

Several thousand leaders and activists of BNP and its affiliated organizations participated in the protest march.

Later, the rally was addressed by Metropolitan BNP Convener Shamsuzzaman Samu, Senior Joint Convener Shahidul Islam Mizu, Member-secretary Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don, Metropolitan Jubo Dal Convener Nurunnabi Chowdhury Milon, Senior Joint Convener Zahir Alam Nayan, Member-secretary Atiqul Islam Lelin, Metropolitan Swechchasebak Dal Member-secretary Nur Hasan Sumon, Metropolitan Chhatra Dal Convener Imran Khan Sujan, among others.

The speakers said that the Israeli aggression, genocide and attacks must be stopped right now. Israel must be economically crippled by banning their products.
