KHULNA, April 11, 2025 (BSS) - Police arrested ex-Dighalia upazila Union Parishad chairman and upazila unit Awami League (AL) organizing secretary Molla Firoz Hossain accused in a case from Dighalia here today.
Acting on a tip-off, Officer-in Charge (OC) of Dighalia police station H M Saheen said, a team conducted a raid in Dighali this afternoon and arrested Molla Firoz Hossain.
Several cases were filed against Firoz and he was shown arrested in a case filed on September 09 in 2024 with Dighalia police station, OC said.
The case was filed by Kazi Anwar Hossain, joint secretary of Fultala upazila, BNP, as plaintiff. The case narrated that AL men led by Molla Firoz attacked on BNP men at Chandanimahal on the aforementioned date.
