Training for Hajj pilgrims held in Rangpur

RANGPUR, April 12, 2025 (BSS) - Rangpur District and Metropolitan units of Haji Kallyan Sangstha (HKS) jointly organized a day-long multimedia training course for Hajj pilgrims today.

About 1,000 male and female pilgrims from the district, who are set to perform Hajj this year, participated in the training held at the District Shilpakala Academy auditorium.

Alhaj Tanbir Hossain Ashrafi, General Secretary of Rangpur District Haji Kallyan Sangstha, attended the program as the chief guest.

Alhaj Principal Mohammad Abu Sayeed and Alhaj Maulana ATM Musa conducted the training sessions and delivered lectures on Wudu (ablution), Tayammum (dry ablution), Arkan al-Hajj (pillars of Hajj), and Ahkam al-Hajj (Islamic rulings of Hajj) to guide the pilgrims in performing Hajj correctly. They also shared their own recent Hajj experiences. 

The program concluded with a special Munajat in the afternoon.
