BARISHAL, April 12, 2025 (BSS)- With the theme "Amra notun jouboneri doot", 
Barishal Kheyali Group Theatre will celebrate "Chaitra Sankranti Parban" 
tomorrow at its office premises in city's Bir Muktijoddha Mintu Basu Road.

To mark the "Chaitra Sankranti", an age-old festival of rural Bangla which 
marks the last day of a Bangla year, the Theatre organise various programmes. 

The event will start at 6:30 pm to welcome Pahela Baishakh, one of the most 
colorful festivals through which the Bangalees bid farewell to the Old Year 
and welcome the New Year, by rendering different kinds of folk songs and 
dance.

Barishal Mohanagar President Sirajum Munir Titu, its General Secretary Apurba 
Ray, district Convenor Uttom Kumar Boral and Member Secretary Mazharul Islam 
Shipon of the Kheyali Group Theatre will present in the festival.
