RAJSHAHI, April 13, 2025 (BSS) - 'Crisis Response Team (CRT)' at Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) has been playing a pivotal role in combating terrorism, trafficking and peddling and addiction of drugs in the region.

Police officials made this observation while inaugurating a two-week training improvement course for the CRT members at RMP Police Lines conference hall in the city today.

RMP organized the training in association with the US Department of State Anti-Terrorism Assistance (ATA), US Embassy, Dhaka. RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufiyan and its Additional Commissioners Nazmul Hassan and Rakibul Hassan Ibne Rahman and ATA Instructor Richard Roman addressed the opening ceremony.
