MANIKGANJ, April 14, 2025 (BSS) - Pahela Baishakh, the first day of the Bengali New Year, is being celebrated under the auspices of district administration here today.
The programmes of Manikganj district administration started with a joyous procession from Beotha Corner to Manikganj Government High School Playground with the participation of hundreds of people of all walks of life.
An attractive cultural function was held at Manikganj Government High School playground. The various cultural organisations and individuals took part in the function.
The traditional Bengali foods were supplied in jail, hospital and government Shishu Paribar on the occasion.
