SAVAR, April 15, 2025 (BSS)- Police arrested three robbers in a special raid from Radio-Colony bus stand area on Dhaka-Aricha Highway on Monday night.
The arrestees have been identified as Yousuf rahman, 20, son of Younus Rahman of Vatirchar village under Singair upazila of Manikganj district, Anan Hossen, 21, son of late Miraj Hossen of Binodbaid area under Savar municipality and Dipok Sutrodhor, 24, son of late Krishno Sutrodhor of Arapara area.
Police also recovered two knives during the drive.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Savar circle) Shahinur Kabir disclosed this today in a press briefing.
He said acting on secret information, Savar Model Police Station sub inspector Atal Bihari Biswas and his team conducted the raid and arrested three robbers.
The arrestees were produced before the court this afternoon, he added.
