NARSINGDI, May 7, 2025 (BSS) - A man was killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a CNG-run auto rickshaw and a private car in the Murgir Bazar-Changabhanda area under Monohardi upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was CNG driver Md. Shahin, 35, son of Kamal Uddin, resident of Narandi village in Shukundi union of the upazila. 

Sub-Inspector Md. Shahiduzzaman of Monohardi Police Station said, the accident took place around 9:30am on a culvert when the two vehicles collided, injuring three passengers.

The injured were taken to Shibpur Upazila Health Complex where Shahin succumbed to his injuries.
