Three, including two brothers, killed in Kishoreganj road accident

KISHOREGANJ, May 10, 2025 (BSS) - Three persons including two brothers were killed in a fatal road accident in Chowddhashata area on the Kishoreganj-Bhairab highway today.

The deceased were Abu Taher, 65, his brother Abul Kashem, 61, and Nur Islam, 70, of Abdullahpur village of Kuliarchar upazila of the district.

The accident occurred when a pick-up van hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw from behind in the area, leaving three auto-rickshaw passengers injured critically.

Locals rescued them and sent them to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital where Abu Taher succumbed to his injuries. 

Later, Abul Kashem succumbed to his injuries on the way to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while Nur Islam died on the way to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
