DHAKA, May 24, 2025 (BSS) - The 177th public hearing of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will be held at Zila Shiplakala Academy in Khulna at 10am tomorrow.

The ACC headquarters and its Integrated Divisional Office jointly organized the public hearing for creating awareness among the common people and to contain corruption.

ACC Commissioner (Investigation) Miah Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi will be present at the public hearing as chief guest while it's Commissioner (Inquiry) Brigadier General (Rtd) Hafiz Ahsan Farid will join as special guest.

The cross section of people who have been harassed and deprived from their desired services from different government and non-government offices can raise their allegations in front of the bosses of those offices during the public hearing.

The senior ACC officials will take on-the-spot decisions on the basis of the allegations, officials of the ACC said.

The main objective of the public hearing is to remove corruption from the country by ensuring accountability, honesty and sincerity of the government officials through enhancing values and making the government services available for all, the officials added.

The ACC Khulna Divisional Office has already launched huge campaign about the public hearing through mike, distributing leaflets, posters and setting up of complain collection booths in Khulna city.

The ACC also urged all concerned including the journalists from print and electronic media to be present at the public hearing.
