SATKHIRA, May 25, 2025 (BSS) - A one and half year old boy was killed and five others were injured in a road accident at Ramchandrapur intersection of the district this morning.

The accident occurred on Satkhira-Ashasuni road around 10.30 am when a bus hit an easy bike from the opposite direction, leaving its six passengers injured.

The injured were taken to Satkhira Sadar Hospital where the baby boy Mostakim succumbed to his injuries.

The child along with his mother and grandmother was going to Satkhira to see a doctor riding an easy bike from Srikanthpur village in Paikgacha upazila in Khulna district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Satkhira Sadar Police Station Shaminul Haque confirmed the matter.
