CHITTAGONG, June 13, 2025 (BSS) - At least eleven dwelling houses were 
gutted in a fire in Banshkhali upazila of the district in the early hours of today.

The incident occurred around 2 am today at Kalur Majhi's house in the 
Headpara area of Ward 2 under Shilkoop Union of the upazila. 

Local Union Parishad member Siddique Akbar Bahadur said, a team from the 
Banshkhali Fire Service rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under 
contol. 

The cause of fire could not be known immediately 

The affected families claim that the damage worth around Taka 30 lakh.
