JHENAIDAH, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS) - At least 15 people were injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck at Maheshpur upazila of the district this morning.

The accident occurred around 6.30 am in front of the Tushar Ceramics factory on the Kaliganj-Jibannagar road when a bus of 'Golden Line Paribahan' collided head-on-with a truck, leaving 15 people including bus passengers injured.

The injured were taken to different hospitals. Seriously injured truck driver and helper have been sent to Jessore General Hospital.

Maheshpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Investigation Sajjadur Rahman Sajjad confirmed the incident.
