CHATTOGRAM, June 14, 2025 (BSS) - One new Covid-19 case has been reported in Chattogram from 24 samples tested over the past 24 hours.

With the latest case, the total number of Coronavirus infections in Chattogram has reached nine in the past week, Dr. Jahangir Alam, Civil Surgeon of Chattogram told BSS.

He noted that Covid-19 testing is currently being carried out at six laboratories across the district, including the RT-PCR lab at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH).

At present, eight patients are receiving treatment at various dedicated hospitals in the city.

Dr. Jahangir Alam urged the public to remain cautious, avoid crowded areas and continue wearing masks to prevent further transmission.
