CHATTOGRAM, June 14, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Md. Farhad Uddin Majnu, 30, a fugitive accused in 13 cases including murder in various areas in Chattogram.

Farhad is the son of late Kamal Uddin of East Shaheed Nagarpur area under Bayezid Bostami police station.

RAB-7 Senior Assistant Director Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the matter to the media on Saturday afternoon. 

He said that Farhad Uddin was arrested in a drive at the said area on Friday night and handed over to the Bayezid Bostami police for further legal action. 

RAB said that the accused was arrested in a case filed at Bayezid Bostami thana in the city.

Information has been received against him in 13 cases related to murder, sabotage, law and order violations and drugs at Bayezid Police Station in the port city and Raozan thana in the district.
