RANGPUR, June 23, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 15 kg of contraband ganja from in front of Best Care Diagnostic Center and Hospital Ltd under Kotwali police station of Dinajpur district early today.
 
"On a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13 conducted a drive at around 4:30 am and seized the huge quantity of smuggled ganja. The team also arrested three individuals from the spot," said a press release issued this afternoon.
 
The detainees are Rony Chandra Das, 33, of village Chandpur under Senbag upazila of Noakhali, Md Azibar Rahman, 55, of village Goaldi under Khansama upazila of Dinajpur and Most Hasina Begum, 29, of village Singuria under Barura upazila of Cumilla.

After filing a case in this connection, RAB handed over the arrestees along with the seized ganja to Kotwali Police Station for further legal action, the release added.
