Dhaka South City AL leader Shariful arrested

DHAKA, Aug 18, 2025 (BSS) - The Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) of the DMP arrested FM Shariful Islam (42), former Science and Technology Affairs Secretary of Dhaka South City Awami League from the capital's Wari area today.

A  press release of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said Shariful is accused in multiple cases linked to July Uprising.
