RAB arrests three with Phensidyl in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, June 23, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a special drive today, arrested three people along with 398 bottles of Phensidyl from the Nalta area under Kaliganj upazila in the district.

The arrestees were identified as Jahangir Hossain, 38, Abdul Gaffar, 62 and Amol Sarkar.

A team from RAB-6 conducted a special drive at a market located on the first floor of Nalta Bazar and arrested them in possession of the contraband drugs, said Shaminul Haque, officer-in-charge of Sadar Police Station.

A case was filed against them with Satkhira Sadar Police Station under the Narcotics Control Act.
