BOGURA, July 7, 2025 (BSS) - Abdul Based and Abdul Matin Mondal have been elected president and general secretary respectively of the Bogura unit of Bangladesh Jatiotabadi Ainjibi Forum (BJAF).

They were elected during the biennial conference held at the Bogura Zilla Parishad Auditorium on Sunday.

A total of 328 out of 359 registered voters cast their votes. 

Advocate A.K.M. Fazlul Haque was elected senior vice-president, Advocate A.B.M. Saiful Islam Shimul as joint secretary, and Advocate Shafiqul Islam Shafiq as organizing secretary of the unit.

BJAF Secretary General Barrister Kayser Kamal attended the conference as chief guest, while Adviser to the BNP Chairperson and Convener of the Biennial Conference Preparatory Committee Advocate A.K.M. Mahbubur Rahman presided over the event.

BJAF Organizing Secretary Advocate Kamrul Islam Sajal and Assistant Organizing Secretary Barrister Mahfuzul Haque Milon were present as special guests.
