Fugitive accused in 16 cases arrested in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, July 7, 2025 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Md. Nur Hossain Saddam, 26, a fugitive accused in 16 cases filed with several police stations in Chattogram and Feni districts.

Saddam is son of Nur Mohammad alias Nur Ahmed from the West Chanua area of Feni Sadar upazila. 

On information, a team from the RAB-7 raided the city's Doublemooring area on Sunday night and arrested Saddam, according a press release issued by the elite force today.

The cases over robbery, theft and drug peddling have mostly been filed with Pahartali, Halishahar, Doublemooring in Chattogram, Feni Sadar, Fulgazi thana in Feni district and Chauddagram police station in Cumilla.

Following initial interrogation, Saddam was handed over to Feni Sadar Model Police Station for legal proceedings, said the press release.
