3 drug peddlers held in Lalmonirhat

RANGPUR, July 8, 2025 (BSS) - The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested three drug peddlers and seized 188 bottles of phensedyl from their possession from Rudreshwar village in Kaliganj upazila of Lalmonirhat on Monday.

On information, a team from the RAB-13 conducted a raid there and arrested the suspects red-handed with the contrabands in their possession at 12:50 pm, said a press release there.
 
The arrestees are Josna Begum, 50, wife of Md Shajahan Ali, Marjina Begum, 46, wife of Mokbul Hossain of village Gohail under Shajahanpur police station and Lailey Begum, 58, wife of Mohammad Ali of village Gokul (Paschimpara) under Sadar police station of Bogura district.
 
The elite force handed over the arrestees and the seized phensedyl to Kaliganj police station of Lalmonirhat for further legal action.
