MANIKGANJ, July 8, 2025 (BSS) - A mobile court seized more than 150 pieces of banned china current nets from different areas of Charkatari, Baghutia and Bachamara union of the Daulatpur Upazila today from the Jamuna River.

Daulatpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nahian Nuren conducted the mobile court.

The seized current nets were destroyed in the presence of the people because it is harmful and kill fish and all kinds of aquatic animals.

The UNO said the conducting of the mobile court will be continued save the water animals.
