RMP recovers 145 more stolen mobile phones

RAJSHAHI, July 9, 2025 (BSS) - Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), in support of its Cyber Crime Unit has recovered 145 more stolen mobile phones from different areas of the metropolis.
 
RMP authorities handed over the recovered phones to their respective owners at its headquarters conference hall today.
 
Addressing the event, RMP Commissioner Muhammad Abu Sufiyan said the police are working relentlessly for the welfare of the people.
 
"Cyber Crime Unit has achieved significant success and earned the trust of the public by combating cyber crimes in the metropolis," he added.

He urged the public in general to remain cautious at the time of purchasing lost mobile phones. 

Commissioner Abu Sufiyan expressed his thanks to those who extended cooperation for recovering the mobile phones. 
 
Earlier, in three separate phases, the RMP authorities handed over 236 recovered mobile phones to their owners.
