Two held with Yaba tablets in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, July 20, 2025 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two 
alleged drug dealers with 480 pieces of Yaba tablets from Ranibandar Balapara 
Nasratpur village under Chirirbandar Police Station of Dinajpur district on 
Saturday night.
 
The arrested are Mahfuzur Rahman, 26, son of Nurul Amin of Andharmuha 
(Sahapara) village and Sohanur Rahman Suman, 25, son of Nazrul Islam of 
Satnala (Pulishapara Model School) village under Chirirbandar Police Station 
in Dinajpur district.

On a tip-off, an operational team of the Crime Prevention Company-2 of RAB-13 
from Nilphamari camp conducted a raid in the village and arrested the two 
persons along with the contraband Yaba tablets at about 10:20 pm, a press 
release said here today. 
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the 
arrested persons to Chirirbandar Police Station for further legal action.
