NARAIL, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - A seven-day tree plantation campaign and tree fair began today in the district with the slogan of 'Let's do planned afforestation, build a green Bangladesh.'

Deputy Commissioner Sharmin Akhter Jahan inaugurated the campaign and fair organized by the district administration and Forest Department on the premises of Shilpakala Academy at 11 am.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Lincoln Biswas presided over the function.

Later, different types of fruit, medicinal and forest plants were distributed among the students of educational institutions free of cost.

A total of 10 stalls have been set up in the fair.
