GAIBANDHA, Aug 03, 2025 (BSS)- An aged man was killed in a collision between CNG-run auto rickshaw and easy bike at Raza Virat area of Gobindaganj-Raza-Virat Road under Gobindaganj upazila in the district on Saturday afternoon.
 
Local sources said the accident took place in front of Apex Agro Limited of the area when an auto rickshaw carrying passengers collided head-on with an easy bike coming from the opposite direction. 

The auto rickshaw twisted and two passengers of the rickshaw were critically injured.
 
Locals rushed to the spot and rescued the passengers and also sent the two injured passengers to the upazila health complex, where Abdul Hamid, one of the injured succumbed to his injuries.

The locals also detained the driver of the auto rickshaw and handed him over to the police for driving his bike on the wrong side.
