BOGURA, Aug 3, 2025 (BSS) - A minor girl was killed when a truck hit her at Sarugram village of Kalerpara union under Dhunat upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was Tuba Khatun, 4, daughter of Shah Alam of the same area.

The accident took place on the Dhunat-Sonahata road when a truck hit the girl while she was crossing the road, said Saidul Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dhunat Police Station.

Critically injured Tuba was taken to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries around 8 am.
