GOPALGANJ, Aug 6, 2025 (BSS) -School bags were distributed among 250 students of Tarashi Government Primary School in Kotalipara upazila of the district today.

The upazila administration distributed the bags at a ceremony on the school premises.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Masum Billah, Senior Upazila Fisheries Officer SM Shahjahan Siraj, Rural Development Officer Abu Taher Helal, Assistant Education Officer Basudeb Biswas, PTA Committee President Moniruzzaman Sheikh Jewel, teachers and guardians were present.

Headmaster Ashok Adhikari said many students earlier used torn bags or had none, and they are delighted with the new ones.

UNO Masum Billah said the initiative aims to encourage students and boost their interest in education, adding that such support will continue on a broader scale.
